I finished my book today since I had nothing else to do. It was excellent - funny, touching, overall really good. I'm getting rid of the majority of my books, but it is going nowhere.

My friend lent me The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo! So now I'm pushing all the other books I'm currently reading aside to read that one! Wheee!

I started reading Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. I love it so far. She has a great way of writing and storytelling.

Agatha Christie's The Third Girl. I borrowed a few of her books from my dad. The only downside is that they're in French.

I've been wanting to read this! How is it so far? I'm tempted to watch the movie, too, but books are always better.

^ Just finished that book -- it was pretty good. It starts off slow-ish, and it seems somewhat clumsily written (maybe the fault of the translation?) in parts, but it's good for a quick summer read.

Am now reading Atlas Shrugged.

Currently reading:

'The Return' by Victoria Hislop
'Bulletbroof Web Design' by Dan Cederholm
'C# Web Applications with Visual Studio .NET' by... quite a few authors.

Pick and choose which I feel like reading depending on my mood Tongue

I started reading Dawn of the Dreadfuls yesterday, I'm half way through the novel now.

Who could possibly resist a good dose of Austen + zombies? It's hilarious! Cheesy

Started reading the Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin yesterday and I'm already halfway. I followed her blog, but the book makes a nice overview.

I've put Eat, Pray, Love on hold until the Happiness Project is finished.

Just finished reading The Book of Negroes by Lawrence Hill. I thought it would be boring and I wouldn't be able to get through it, but I was wrong! Still, I was kind of relieved when I finally saw the words "The End" Tongue

I just finished reading One Day by David Nicholls. I absolutely loved it. It's chicklit without being to girlish. A great combination. There's no talk about shoes, designer clothes or whatever. Just two people who happen to fall in love. Aah...

Now. Back to Eat, Pray, Love. Yes. It still not finished. The Bali part is _so_ boring. It's like reading the Lonely Planet without ever planning on going to Bali. *sigh* But I do want to know what happens in the end.

I just finished Watchmen, and it was damn brilliant. So much better than the movie!

I'm currently working on a collection of H.P. Lovecraft stories. His writing style is a little tricky to get used to because he uses an awful lot of unnecessary words, but man, this guy's a genius. "The Music of Eric Zann" gave me such chills!

I finished Gone With The Wind yesterday. Best. Fucking. Book. Ever. I cried for the last thirty pages for no reason at all (well there was a reason and I knew exactly what was coming, but I didn't expect to cry over it).

Anyway, it's got to be the best written, most interesting, amazing book ever. And absolutely my favourite.

I'm currently reading Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking.
